Boatwright Building Consultants, Inc. began operation on May 1, 1979. Initially we provided engineering and building inspection services in the Greater Los Angeles Area. We then expanded the areas we serve to Santa Barbara, Ventura, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego Counties. In 1994 we opened a second office in Colorado providing service to the Denver and Colorado Springs areas. Over the years we have added several types of specialty inspections that are frequently needed for commercial transactions. In addition, our engineering services have expanded to meet the demand for due-diligence seismic evaluations of real property.

We bring the same professionalism and diligence to all our work, whether an engineering design for new construction, a complex analysis of a building’s seismic resilience, assessing existing buildings for quality of construction and construction defects, or inspecting a building for structural deficiencies. Since opening our doors we have investigated or provided engineering services for more than 50,000 properties amassing a wide-ranging client list that includes property owners, architects, attorneys, business managers, developers, and banks. Our portfolio includes high profile properties such as the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Hotel Bel-Air in Bel-Air Los Angeles, Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Japanese Village Plaza in Downtown Los Angeles, and Ports O’ Call Village in San Pedro. Our clients have even retained us to evaluate properties in Arizona, Indiana, Nevada, and Tennessee.
